The US SEC’s Division of Trading & Markets has approved BitWise’s 10 Crypto Index Fund’s conversion to an exchange-traded fund.
However, the approval order has been paused, likely by one or multiple SEC commissioners, and will now be reviewed by the Commission.
Earlier this month, the SEC also approved, then stayed, the conversion of Grayscale’s Digital Large Cap Fund into an ETF.
ETF Institute co-founder Nate Geraci described the SEC’s flip-flop as “a bizarre situation.” He believes both Grayscale and Bitwise’s funds should be approved and uplisted for trading immediately.
Nevertheless, their approval by the Division of Trading & Markets confirms that altcoins ETFs will receive the Commission’s green light. Besides large caps like Litecoin, Solana, XRP and Dogecoin, even meme coins like Dogecoin and Pudgy Penguins could receive ETF approvals.

CoinDCX has absorbed the financial hit itself and announced a recovery bounty of up to 25% of any recovered amount, while pledging to strengthen its security infrastructure.
